Mia and Juan's wedding took place on April 4th, 2026 at A Little Piece of Heaven Venue in Carrollton, Georgia, and their story truly feels like it was meant to happen exactly the way it did; Mia had actually posted back in October looking for a photographer and I remember reaching out to her, but somehow my message got lost in the mix of multiple inquiries, and then fast forward to March of 2026 when I saw a post from a woman that her sister’s photographer had canceled and they were urgently looking for someone in Carrollton; which, if you don’t know, is exactly where I’m based; so of course I immediately reached out, and shortly after Mia messaged me separately saying her sister mentioned me, and from there everything just fell into place, and I’m so thankful that fate brought us together because their wedding day was truly so special; we were only there for four hours but it felt like we experienced so much, Mia was incredibly kind and sweet, and every single person there was so fun, welcoming, and just such a good vibe to be around, and they are genuinely the sweetest couple with the sweetest little boy who completely stole the show, and while I’m familiar with this venue this was actually my first time officially working there so I was really excited to experience it in a new way through their day, and like many weddings the timeline had a few small mishaps, which is completely okay and honestly expected sometimes, which is why I always recommend building in a little extra time, but instead of stressing we simply adjusted and shifted things around by doing all of the groom’s portraits and groomsmen portraits ahead of time and then continuing through the day from there, and even with those changes we still captured everything we needed to and more, all while making sure Mia and Juan never felt rushed or pressured, because while getting beautiful, timeless photos is so important to me, it will never be more important than my couples actually being able to enjoy their wedding day, and overall their wedding was just joyful, effortless, and full of love, the kind of day that reminds you that things don’t have to be perfect to be meaningful, and I’m so incredibly grateful that everything aligned the way it did and that I got to be a part of such a genuine and beautiful celebration.
